Flag Jars

I can check this off my project to-do list. You just have to imagine flowers in the jars though. (Those cost money so they are coming later.)  All in all these were pretty cheap to make. Now I can use this decoration for Happy Memorial Day/Flag Day/Independence Day/Patirots Day/Any Day...I guess that means all summer long.

Pink and Gold Baby Shower

I found these pictures of a baby shower I threw for a good friend a while back.  The main accomplishment here is that I think I spent $30 total on it.

Here's what I bought:

• gold spraypaint for frame (that I had already), and flower vases
• tissue paper for garland on ebay (there are lots of tutorials for those), as well as pink utensils, plates, and gold cupcake liners
• pink and gold candies 

Everything else I had already. The napkin holder is from IKEA, as is the doily plate. I made three different kinds of cake and made little labels for them using tags and toothpicks stuck into Rolo candies. I also made a little print for the frame that said, "Welcome little lady". The cupcakes were Cherry Almond Vanilla and are SO delicious.

It was a really fun party to prepare!

Target Practice

I'm counting this as something I made, since I DID mix paint & water and fill up all these. The blue color even needed extra care to be blue. The boys liked their "free" targets.

Found this printable online and made one

found above printable of apostles online and I put them on circles instead of the flashcards they were intended to be. Perfect for my toddler.

laminated and hole punched these older church pictures. Used ribbon and just wrapped one end with scotch tape. Cheap lacing cards!

Paint Sample Color Books

These are two sided pages I made from free paint samples at Home Depot. Laminated the pages & added a ring. Got the idea from my mom- she made me one first. Perfect party favor for our rainbow themed birthday party last week! Plus- FREE! (well, like 17 cents)
